Mass Athletics is a family owned and operated professional sports program that specializes in baseball training, AAU baseball, and a college bound program for high school student athletes. We are centrally located in the Metrowest region of Massachusetts about 20 miles west of Boston.

Brothers Brian and Scott Blumsack founded Mass Athletics in 2009. Prior to that they provided baseball lessons and ran camps and clinics as the Blumsack Baseball Academy.

Both Brian and Scott are lifelong students of the game. They were standout high school players who went on to play college baseball. Brian went to the University of Massachusetts, Central Florida Community College and Suffolk University. Scott attended Southern New Hampshire University and Roger Williams University. During and after college they played and then managed in Greater Boston’s Intercity League for over a decade.

Brian has been an Assistant Coach at Bunker Hill Community College, Pitching Coach at Lake City Community College and is currently the Head Coach of Framingham State University. Scott has been the Head Coach of Bunker Hill Community College, an Assistant Coach at the University of Massachusetts Boston and is currently an Assistant Coach at Framingham State University.

The Blumsack brothers decided they wanted to expand on their lifetime of playing and coaching experience by building a program to develop youth baseball players and prepare them for playing at the highest levels of the game. Their goal was to put together a yearly package of lessons, clinics, camps and a professionally run AAU program for dedicated youth baseball players. Out of that Mass Athletics was born.

Today Mass Athletics offers private or group baseball lessons to baseball players of any age or skill level as well as seasonal baseball camps, clinics, skill sessions and strength and conditioning classes. We also specialize in running a youth AAU baseball program and currently have teams at the 11u through 14u age levels. Mass Athletics also has a unique college bound program for high school student athletes of any sport where an expert in collegiate athletics recruiting and evaluation will advise and promote the student athlete to college coaches.
